Again, the point is to send the message that for corporations and the wealthy, exemption from White House criticism is found in voiced partisanship and that such preference might well extend to enacting new government crony-capitalist regulations and taxation.

Academic Freedom? Not if You’re a Conservative…or a Koch Big Government

It appears that the original accusations against the Koch Foundation stating they had harmed academic integrity and obtained hire/fire authority over faculty were proven false, so new allegations were created in their place also lacking any factually basis.
This story has very little to do about the agreement the Koch Foundation reached with FSU and everything to do with the fact that some will never accept their involvement in higher education.

The irony of this is that very few voters know or care who the Koch brothers are. They do know that we have 9.2 percent unemployment and a president who wants to raise taxes in a dismal economy. So, I guess we shouldn’t be surprised that the liberal spin machine would rather talk about college professors and blueberries.
